ABOUT THE PROJECT
DigiTEACH – Digital arT Education And Cultural excHanges among European Countries is a three-year Erasmus+ project (Project number: 2023-1-FR01-KA220-SCH-
The project aims to modernise art education by integrating innovative digital tools, creating new teaching methodologies, and fostering cultural exchange through high-resolution digitalised artworks.
By combining art, technology, and European collaboration, digiTEACH empowers teachers and students to explore and connect with Europe's diverse artistic heritage in more engaging and interactive ways.
PROJECT GOALS
- The project supports art teachers across Europe by providing innovative digital tools and methodologies to make art education more interactive, engaging, and accessible.
- The project enhances students' digital skills by integrating ICT-based learning into art education, helping them explore and create within the digital cultural landscape.
- The project strengthens a shared European identity through virtual cultural exchanges that connect students and teachers from different countries and backgrounds.
- The project improves access to European artworks by developing a shared online "art cloud" featuring high-resolution, digitalised pieces from museums across partner countries.
- The project promotes collaboration and knowledge-sharing by building strong partnerships among European schools to encourage joint learning, creativity, and innovation.

In doing this, also to improve the society we live in.

The Centrica team actively collaborates in the development of digital projects and technologies for the enhancement of cultural heritage.

Centro Machiavelli was established in 1978, in Florence, Italy, and since 2009, the training agency has expanded its activities to focus on professional training, lifelong learning, and educational research and innovation, working both nationally and at the European level. It has participated in numerous European Union programs related to mobility, cooperation, development, and the transfer of educational innovations.
In 2012, the center received the European Language Label for creating an innovative multimedia English learning program for blind and visually impaired students.

Inforef is a Liège-based non-profit organization in Belgium that brings together a team of diverse professionals committed to promoting the use of digital technologies and fostering European cooperation in the field of education.

By developing European projects, they create opportunities for cross-cultural exchange, shared knowledge, and best practices in education and training. Through these efforts, Inforef contributes to a more digitally inclusive, collaborative, and future-ready society.

The Greek Cultural Institute in Greece is dedicated to celebrating and promoting the rich heritage of Greek culture and education. Through a variety of engaging activities, including guided tours, cultural routes, museum-based educational programs, and interactive outdoor experiences, it brings the essence of Greek traditions to life. Tailor-made programs for schools add a personal touch, ensuring meaningful learning experiences for young minds.
In partnership with the School Life and Education Museum, the institute operates in a stunning 19th-century neoclassical building nestled in the heart of Athens, just beneath the iconic Acropolis.

RenaSup is a private, non-profit organization in France linked to the General Secretariat of Catholic Education. It is a network of 525 higher education institutions offering diplomas ranging from Bac+2 to Bac+3 levels. Each project developed by RenaSup adheres to a framework of quality, professional integration, opportunities for further studies in France or abroad, and academic success.
Şahinbey | GAZİANTEP
Located in central Gaziantep, Türkiye, this public middle school educates around 1,800 students (ages 11–14) from 5th to 8th grade. Following Ministry of Education regulations, it offers mixed education and prepares students for high school based on graduation exam scores.
The school is a hub for sports, cultural, and educational programs, excelling in basketball, volleyball, table tennis, and futsal. It also participates in Erasmus+, eTwinning, and environmental initiatives to foster social, cultural, and ecological awareness.
With 75 teachers and 6 support staff, the school operates in double shifts due to space constraints. It primarily serves middle- and low-income families, including students with fewer opportunities and Syrian refugees. The young and dynamic teaching staff embraces digital education methods to enhance learning.
